Repeated intro

Hey everyone,

What changed

removedAs I mentioned earlier, this change was made because I unfortunately lost access to the project files, which means I’m no longer able to update or patch the game. Given that, I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to charge for something I can’t support properly.
changedI also want to respond to a comment from the previous announcement. Someone mentioned that they felt the game was still worth charging for, even if the price was lowered instead of going free. Not only did you say that without any frustration, but you said it because of the game’s quality. That really meant a lot to me, and it reminded me that this is something I should be proud of.
changedThat said, once a game is set to Free to Play on Steam, that change is permanent — so I won’t be able to adjust the price back, even if I wanted to.

Just a quick follow-up to my last post [ANOMALY TAPES]: Beyond Reality is now officially Free to Play.

I want to say again how much I appreciate all the love and support this game has received. This was the first game I ever published, putting it out there was a huge step for me, and seeing people play it, talk about it, and even recommend it has meant more than I can explain. It’s given me the motivation to keep creating.

I also want to respond to a comment from the previous announcement. Someone mentioned that they felt the game was still worth charging for, even if the price was lowered instead of going free. Not only did you say that without any frustration, but you said it because of the game’s quality. That really meant a lot to me, and it reminded me that this is something I should be proud of.

That said, once a game is set to Free to Play on Steam, that change is permanent — so I won’t be able to adjust the price back, even if I wanted to.

If you’re looking for more context, the previous announcement goes into more detail. This post was just to confirm the change and to thank you all again for supporting the project.

Kind regards, PANIX
