ANGST: A TALE OF SURVIVAL changes
Dear Community!
It is our great honor to present this new update for ANGST: A TALE OF SURVIVAL. Below is a list of what’s included:
Improvements:
Added a health bar above enemies so you can better track how much damage you’ve dealt.
Added an option to select your preferred difficulty level:
Story – Survival needs and combat are less demanding. Recommended for players looking for a more casual, narrative-focused experience.
Normal – A balanced level of survival and combat. Choose this for the intended, well-rounded experience.
Survivalist – A more demanding mode where hunger, temperature, and energy loss have a stronger impact as you travel through the Hollow.
Please note: the difficulty level can be adjusted at any time during gameplay.
Increased the size of selected interface elements (mainly text) throughout the game for improved readability, especially when playing on Steam Deck.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a long-standing bug causing the protagonist to get stuck while mining iron in caves.
The She Wolf’s Fang and the Orb of Sorrow will no longer respawn if they have already been obtained earlier.
Stove fire sound effects are now correctly affected by the SFX volume setting.
Fixed an issue where Animal Traps behaved incorrectly after player death.
