Angelo and Deemon 2: Too Hell of a Quest changes
It's Angelo here – or Max from the dev team channeling my inner blogger. Deemon's off dealing with some heavenly red tape, so we're keeping it real.
Today, we're diving into the visuals. If you played Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest, you loved the hand-painted, colorful style: vibrant worlds, cheeky characters, and environments full of personality. We hope you loved it!
For the sequel, we've cranked up resolution, lighting, details, animations, and colors. It keeps the original charm but delivers a more immersive, modern vibe.
First: our main duo, Angelo & Deemon
Same characters, fresh upgrade. Cleaner lines, richer textures, better lighting on faces and clothes, and way more expressiveness. Deemon’s wings and gold chains really stand out now!
Next, the flat: We drew inspiration from the original apartment to create a similar spot in the sequel –same cozy layout, but with a glow-up.

New upgraded flat from Angelo and Deemon: Too Hell of a Quest
Look at that evolution! The original had that warm, gritty charm. The new one keeps the familiar layout and charm but brings brighter, airier lighting, richer materials, more detailed props, and those subtle divine touches that make it feel like a whole new realm. It’s the same spirit, elevated.
We’re super proud of how these upgrades make the puzzles, jokes, and heavenly (mis)adventures hit even harder.
