Repeated intro

Hello, Creator of Andoran Skye here. I just wanted to stop by and thank everybody that played the game so far. It really meant a lot to me and inspires me to continue my journey as a budding developer. Though the good reviews pushed me forward, the bad reviews helped too! That being said, I'm pleased to announce the massive update to Andoran Skye. The first thing you will notice is the visual changes that were made. The game is much more polished and optimized for even a low-end PC to run.

It really meant a lot to me and inspires me to continue my journey as a budding developer. Though the good reviews pushed me forward, the bad reviews helped too! That being said, I'm pleased to announce the massive update to Andoran Skye. The first thing you will notice is the visual changes that were made. The game is much more polished and optimized for even a low-end PC to run.
addedAlthough artwork wasn't one of the main complaints I received, I thought it would be a nice update. As I continued to rework the game I saw many assets that could be improved. This is the result of that. The next thing I decided to work on was the controls and fluidity of the protagonist. Originally, the game took more of a side-scroller approach. I used "paths" to constrain the player to certain areas while moving Left/Right acted as a form of navigation. The update features an entirely new control system with no constraints at all. You can travel anywhere (in any direction) you would like to go.
addedThe battle system is new and improved with the option to cycle through techniques easily. Instead of asking the player to press [ACTION] or [CYCLE RIGHT] a visual representation of the key is on screen. I felt that would provide a much more intuitive experience for new players. Guarding is now automatic. You won't be prompted to press a button just to guard as long as you remain cycled to that technique. In addition to those specific changes, I spent some time composing new music. There are several new collectibles and corrections made to the writing. I hope you all enjoy the update as much as I enjoyed making it!
