This date isn’t random — it marks the 20th anniversary of the original game’s release. And what better way to celebrate than with the rebirth of Ancient Wars: Sparta, completely remade and evolved for a new generation.

There will be three major updates along the way:

• Two big updates before the Early Access launch.

• One massive update on the full release day.

Each will bring new improvements, community-requested changes, and exciting content. This is just the beginning!

Did you think I had forgotten about Medieval Crusades? Never! I’ve been working on a major new update that’s coming very soon — packed with improvements, fixes, and new features.

For years, many of you have asked to relive the original Sparta experience. After more than two and a half years of hard work, I’m thrilled to announce Ancient Wars: Sparta HD — a version that captures the original gameplay, refined to perfection, with enhanced visuals and improvements throughout.

Originally planned as a mode inside Sparta Definitive Edition, it grew into something much bigger after technical limitations made integration impossible. And so, I decided to give it life as a standalone experience.

I want everyone to be able to enjoy it — no matter their financial situation. Yes, this decision means I’ll probably lose income, but my motivation isn’t money. It’s about keeping alive a genre that once was great… and will be great again.
