Good evening all.
I discovered an overflow error that could occur during the finale of the game. I have fixed the cause of this issue and have hopefully solved the crashes during the finale exorcism event.
I am still working on stability improvements to help with crashes outside of the finale, the ones that appear very randomly. I have changed the Graphics API for the game and went through all of textures, shadow settings, post processing settings, lightmap settings, etc. and adjust each thing I could to keep the game looking similar while also increasing performance for everybody.
In addition, I have updated the game engine to Unity 6.3 also in hopes to achieve increase stability.
Next Patch 1.0.5:
In the next small content patch, I will be adding auto-saving and loading as well as making changes to the objectives to make them less frustrating and a bit more intuitive. In addition, I will be adding more horror events and scares as the time to complete the game for most players is a bit higher than I anticipated and I would like the repetitiveness to be reduced for those who are spending more time playing.
I am hoping to get this patch done in the next day or two, 12/31/2025 by the latest.
