An Exercise in Mortality - Chapter I changes
It has now been two months since I released the initial version of An Exercise in Mortality – Chapter I.
During that time I have made many improvements to the game. However, the past month has also been unusually busy outside of development, and as a result there are still several important refinements I would like to complete. I currently expect this work to take roughly another three weeks.
My goal remains unchanged: to continue refining the game until I am confident it reflects the experience I want it to be.
Once these refinements are complete, I will share another update before moving on to the next phase of development.
I then intend to revisit the game's music. Due to time constraints during development, the soundtrack never received the level of attention I had hoped to give it. Some pieces I had planned are not yet part of the game, and several of the existing tracks are better described as demos than as finished soundtrack pieces. Alongside this, I will continue refining the game's visuals.
With those improvements in place, I will finally begin the actual marketing phase. To mark that milestone, I also intend to run another discount for those who have been waiting to experience the game in a more refined state.
Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support. It means a great deal to me, and I look forward to sharing the game in its finished form with all of you soon.
