An Abyss of Dreams changes
Over the past week, I had the chance to watch many content creators play the game, which helped me identify a few bugs and areas that needed improvement. I also made some adjustments to the infamous beach puzzle.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where eating the fish in the third dream did not trigger the cinematic.
Removed the auto-save on application quit, as it was causing more issues than it solved.
The pause menu and inventory now automatically hide when a narration sequence begins.
Locked the outside door at night to prevent players from leaving after the chapel puzzle and unintentionally skipping about 20% of the game.
Fixed the water fountain issue where the bucket could be used even if the water had not been turned on.
Tweaks
- Beach puzzlereduced the size of the compass on the ground to make it easier to read and revealed the symbol that was previously hidden by the ruins.
I’ll continue fixing and refining things as needed, but the puzzles are becoming more and more balanced.
