We've got one last update to squeeze in before the holidays for Among Us 3D! Starting today, Dec. 4, 2025, we've added the Tracker, a classic role from the original Among Us, permanently to the game.

addedStarting today, Dec. 4, 2025 , we've added the Tracker, a classic role from the original Among Us , permanently to the game.

addedMean, Bean, Tracking Machine | The TrackerCrewmates need every advantage they can get; which is why the Tracker is a welcome sight to help identify Impostors. Their tracking ability (denoted as a radar symbol when you get the role) can be used on one Bean at a time...although you do have to get perilously close to do so.

changedMean, Bean, Tracking Machine | The TrackerOnce tracked, the Tracker can follow that Bean on their mini-map for a limited time, even when they're well beyond your sightline. This lets the Tracker:

To really change up the gameplay, try adding Engineers, Vigilantes, and Guardian Angels to the game as well to ramp up the complexity and challenge.

Once tracked, the Tracker can follow that Bean on their mini-map for a limited time, even when they're well beyond your sightline. This lets the Tracker:

See if a Bean is venting (you'll see them magically skip between rooms on the mini-map)
See if a Bean is where they say they are (perfect to bring up at the last second during an Emergency Meeting)
See if a Bean is in trouble (a stopped Bean in a hallway is definitely a sign something is wrong; or they're just very lazy)

Advanced Play

The Tracker is fun enough on its own, but the real fun of so many Crewmate roles is when they're combined with existing roles as well. To really change up the gameplay, try adding Engineers, Vigilantes, and Guardian Angels to the game as well to ramp up the complexity and challenge.

Was that an Impostor or Engineer venting after I tracked them? Am I spending too much time tracking and not enough doing my tasks? Did I just see an Impostor or a Vigilante kill?

Once you have the mix of roles right, try experimenting with your cooldowns and custom lobby settings. How much more powerful does the Tracker become when visibility is turned down to a minimum? Or, crank up the number of tasks to complete and turn off reporting bodies to make the Emergency Meeting the ultimate arbiter of justice.
