addedAdded fatigue and equipment animations for all characters.

So many new things this October! You’ve been with us for a year now, and Alvara keeps growing day by day thanks to you. Today, we have a huge update! Here’s a non-exhaustive list of the new features (there are so many that we’re afraid of missing a few :) ):

  • Added fatigue and equipment animations for all characters.

  • Adjusted buttons in the equipment menu (character selection).

  • Improved cameras during discussions for better immersion.

  • Created profiles for missing NPCs to display their faces during conversations.

  • Removed birds in the sky: the rendering wasn’t satisfactory.

  • Created a new marketing image to better represent the game as a whole.

  • Tutorial texts: More concise, but still being finalized.

  • Bug fixes (multiple NPCs appearing in the team, map menu issues, etc.).

  • Equipment menu change: Now on the first page of the inventory, making it easier to change equipment.

  • Added a few dead animals for a more realistic atmosphere.

  • Added a "Tired" pose in combat to visually represent character fatigue.

  • Improved the tutorial by adding inserts. Jean seemed too knowledgeable, which wasn’t narratively coherent.

  • Improved some dialogues to enhance response consistency.

  • Recalibrated final lines that overlapped with player responses.

  • Added missing character icons in some dialogues.

  • Fixed a bug making certain items or special abilities unreadable in combat.

  • Fixed a major bug with Akhakhréna’s fight not starting.

  • Revised all menu backgrounds.

  • Fixed minor consistency bugs (quest updates, etc.).

What more can we say? A video will show you some of these updates (and not even all of them!)
