Hi All, Happy Thanksgiving! We are pleased to announce the latest Update #2 for the holidays: PLEASE RELOAD STEAM & DOWNLOAD THE LATEST AMF VR UPDATE BEFORE PLAYING Framework
Increased Graphics Fidelity, in game maps visuals have improved clarity and realism, enjoy the eye candy ːsteamhappyː
Oculus Rift or HTC Vive is selected in the Starting screen only
Starting screen no longer shows the server choices for cleaner look. Country server choices are made in the main lobby
New pictures added to the map selection menu
Set height function has been removed, the game is now auto set height calibration before each round by looking at a target and pulling the trigger
CONTROLS
Starting a game no longer requires double trigger, the host should simply press the start button located in the top right of the screen using trigger
Globe menu location is persistent to wherever you place it. If moved off screen, press the menu (Y or B for Oculus) and the Trigger to reset the location
If night vision is turned on, it will be persistent throughout the round, no need to turn it on every time you die
Weapon hints pop up on bottom of HMD when hand hovers over weapons (knife/rifle/grenade/pistol)
Last Weapon Used will be persistent and carry over to the next round
Server Number and Game mode added to the bottom of the scoreboard
CONTINUE TO NEXT ROUND
We are pleased to bring you the most requested function, "Continue to Next Round". Check out the new menu system and Doorway located in the Victory Room upon the ending of each round: ːsteamhappyː
The host may now choose the next map and gameplay options and allow current players to continue to the next round. Only the Host may operate the control console. Players may discuss with the host prior to choosing the next map or game mode. Once ready, the host should press confirm, once Host is pressed the next map starts loading.
The large screen monitor will display the Next Map, Game Mode and Status of Players continuing.
Once selected, the remaining players simply need to walk through the doorway that says “Deploy”. Easy huh? :)
EXITING
Whether it be from the Victory Room or during a game, you may exit anytime by opening the menu system (menu button or Y / B) then clicking the 9-Squares menu and selecting the Exit Icon (Command Truck image)
ADDITIONAL UPDATES
Slum Map - Grass added, also some additional background structures
Continued code optimization and server stability, should reduce crash frequency
