changedAt the event, we will be selling a mini illustration card containing the download QR code for the opening demo of ALL ADRIFT , as well as an art book featuring characters from the demo, creator commentary, and other materials.
changedThe price will be 500 yen for the demo card and 1,000 yen for the art book.
changedOn the day of the event, I will be at the space together with PROGENIVERSE circle member and illustrator Leviathan ( @hikinito0902 ). For our Comiket circle cut, the image features a main character illustration created by HxxG ( @Cheon1986 ), one of the participating illustrators.
changedFirst, it matched our production schedule better than any other event.
changedWe do not have large capital behind us. Even so, I want to stay close to the fans, grow this work together with people who love this independent and author-driven culture, and enjoy the journey with them. That is why I wanted to present it first at Comiket, a place where people gather to offer what they love, in their own form, under their own responsibility. Going forward, if our schedule allows, we plan to continue participating in doujin and independent events from time to time.
changedThis October, we plan to participate in a doujin event in South Korea. Next November, we plan to participate in an indie game event in Shanghai, China, where we hope to meet fans from many different parts of Asia.

It has been about half a year since the game was first revealed, and I have spent most of that time fully immersed in development.

Because of that, more time has passed than I expected without any major updates. But now, I finally have an opportunity to meet you in person, so I am writing this message for the first time.

This August, I will participate in Comic Market 108 in Japan as the doujin circle PROGENIVERSE (@progeniverse).

At the event, we will be selling a mini illustration card containing the download QR code for the opening demo of ALL ADRIFT, as well as an art book featuring characters from the demo, creator commentary, and other materials.

The price will be 500 yen for the demo card and 1,000 yen for the art book.

We will be participating on Sunday, August 16. Our space is East Hall 7, U12ab.

On the day of the event, I will be at the space together with PROGENIVERSE circle member and illustrator Leviathan (@hikinito0902). For our Comiket circle cut, the image features a main character illustration created by HxxG (@Cheon1986), one of the participating illustrators.

Why did I choose Comiket as the first place to present this work?

First, it matched our production schedule better than any other event.

Second, it is held at a distance that makes sense for us to travel to.

And third, this game is being made with the mindset of a doujin circle: to bring into the world what I love, in the form I want to express it, without letting it become subordinate to anything else. You know, this is INDIE GAME.

There was no reason not to bring a game made with that spirit to Comiket, one of the most important places in doujin culture.

ALL ADRIFT is being developed independently after turning down every publishing and investment offer received from major publishers around the world.(To the publishers who received a rejection email from me, I sincerely apologize. But please understand: you were not the only one) I have not applied to any of the usual grant programs or incubation programs, either. And I have no plans to do so. That is because I do not want this work to become a pitch designed to pass someone else’s review, or a safe product rounded off to fit the market. ALL ADRIFT is a work I want to bring into the world in the form I believe in, under my own aesthetic judgment and responsibility as its creator.

We do not have large capital behind us.

This October, we plan to participate in a doujin event in South Korea. Next November, we plan to participate in an indie game event in Shanghai, China, where we hope to meet fans from many different parts of Asia.

I am sorry that it has taken us some time to make it to China. This year, the schedule simply did not work out. Also, there are still many Chinese events that I personally do not know well yet. If you know any doujin or indie game events in China where a foreign creator can participate with an original IP from overseas, please let us know. We will actively consider them.

And if there are events in other countries or regions that you think we should consider participating in, please feel free to tell us anytime.

At the moment, I am managing many parts of the project on my own, and most of my time is focused on development, so updates may not be frequent. Even so, whenever there is something to announce, I will make sure to leave it here.

Thank you for your continued interest and support for ALL ADRIFT.

Please stay well. Sincerely, Sang Hyun
