The time has come… the AlcheMice Private Playtest is LIVE now!
Do you want to know if you’re among the lucky 100 testers? Here’s how to check:
Head over to your Steam account and see if you’ve been selected.
Go to your email inbox. If you secured a spot, you should have received an invitation granting you access.
If you’ve been chosen, make sure to let us know on Red Mountain's official Discord! You’ll receive a special role named Alchemy Apprentice, with it, you'll unlock three important channels:
#private-playtest: a space to chat about the game with fellow testers and the dev team.
#playtest-bugs: a forum dedicated to reporting any bugs or technical issues you encounter. Please make sure to read the guide we’ve prepared before posting!
#playtest-feedback: a structured forum where we’ll gather your thoughts, impressions, and detailed feedback.
To help you get started, our amazing team has prepared a camera guide, as we understand the game's camera can be a bit hard to master. If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to ask. We'll be happy to help, and all the troubles you encounter will be written down as feedback!
As an apprentice, you'll need help from your master. Alchemy can take years to understand, Tycoh knows that. That's why all playtesters will receive a Grimoire full of alchemical recipes to follow! Please don't share them with anyone outside the playtest. Once the AlcheMice demo is out, the grimoire will be shared publicly, but in the meantime, we want to make sure nothing is spoiled!
Lastly but not least, because we know you love a good challenge, the team has crafted a special playtest challenge just for you. It’s simple and fun, with three completion tiers. Once the playtest is closed, we will grant one unique role for each player who completes each tier first!
Can you conquer them all? 🔥
We’re incredibly excited to hear your first impressions! If you can, we’d also love it if you shared screenshots, clips, or your thoughts on social media, and give us a follow!
Once again, thank you for sticking with us. We’re developing AlcheMice carefully, and we believe all the feedback we receive will make our first demo worth the wait.
