removedAI Music BegoneOver time, it’s become clear that it’s not what players want, and honestly, I’m not a fan of it either. I’m now in the process of removing all AI-generated content from the game, starting with the in-game radio.
removedRadio RevampThe in-game radio has been revamped to remove all AI generated music "stations".
addedRadio RevampYou'll also find a new "Setup" button on the front of the radio, which will bring up the new UI for adding stations, and allowing you to include your own .MP3 and .WAV files like before. All existing custom music files added before this update should work just as before.
changedMiscLowered the cost of the advanced summary report upgrade to 300. It should have far more use as an early purchase than a late game one.
addedWhat AI content remains?Ask your supervisor - This is a 100% optional feature added to the procedures manual. All information about the game can be found in the manual, however if you're unsure on certain things, or can't find the information you seek easily, you can ask your supervisor (powered by ChatGPT, included with knowledge of the game) and it can help you along. I personally see this as an accessibility feature, and as it's fully optional, I feel it can remain.

Radio Revamp

The in-game radio has been revamped to remove all AI generated music "stations".

Turning on the radio now, you'll be greeted with our default included station - TruckersFM.

You'll also find a new "Setup" button on the front of the radio, which will bring up the new UI for adding stations, and allowing you to include your own .MP3 and .WAV files like before. All existing custom music files added before this update should work just as before.

Special Thanks to TruckersFM

A huge thank you to TruckersFM for kindly allowing us to include them as the default in-game station.

Their stream is fully licensed through PPL/PRS, and they’ve confirmed it can be embedded and used within the game. Really appreciate their support on this!

Misc

  • Lowered the cost of the advanced summary report upgrade to 300. It should have far more use as an early purchase than a late game one.

  • Minor bug fixes.

What AI content remains?

Just to keep open and honest about what in-game content is AI generated:

  • Main menu music - Although AI, It's instrumental and as of yet, I haven't had any complaints. Let me know if you feel it should be replaced.

  • Supervisor avatars - These are AI generated images shown when your supervisor talks to you in-game, customizable in the Customize App on your tablet.

  • Ask your supervisor - This is a 100% optional feature added to the procedures manual. All information about the game can be found in the manual, however if you're unsure on certain things, or can't find the information you seek easily, you can ask your supervisor (powered by ChatGPT, included with knowledge of the game) and it can help you along.
