changedAfter a few performance and polish updates I'm excited to finally launch Airborn's first content update, and this one brings Time Attack, a fast-paced race to reach insane scores by stringing together perfect combos.
changedIn this mode, players start off with 5 minutes to reach as high a score as possible. The Aspect boss doesn't spawn in this mode, so the name of the game is diving from enemy to enemy keeping up a combo as long as possible. Taking damage no longer reduces health, but instead knocks 10 seconds off the clock. Precious time can be added back to the timer by grabbing the new purple pickups dropped by enemies.
addedA new gamemode means a new leaderboard to make your mark on, and with games lasting around 5 minutes each, I'm hoping it'll have you itching for just one more round.
changedThanks for playing, and stay tuned for more updates to come!
addedChangelog: 1.0.6 Features - Added the new Time Attack gamemode! Activate it with the stopwatch button in the main menu - Enabled adaptive resolution when using the Oculus runtime, can be toggled off in settings
