Airborn changes
After about 2.5 years of development, I couldn't be happier to say that Airborn is finally out. I can't wait to see everyone taking off and soaring up the leaderboards!
It's been a while since I posted a changelog on Steam so I'm just going to summarise the highlights from the last few months of updates:
Equip perks in any slot you want! This HUGELY increases the number of viable equipment builds
New defensive perk - boost into projectiles to destroy them, or into enemies to knock them back
New challenges for every single piece of equipment to test your mastery over them
Revamped the maneuvering tutorial to help players learn how to avoid enemies like a pro
Fancy visual effects when you achieve a combo
Integrated SteamVR 2.0 to allow players to rebind their controls
Introduced several new enemy types, to pester you from afar with laser shots or chase you down at insane speeds
Total rework of all the sound effects, and utterly badass themes for combat and the boss battle
I want to stress that v1.0 is not the end of my plans for Airborn. I'm thrilled with what the game has become, and once the dust has settled after launch I'll be diving right back in to see how far I can push this.
Thanks for following, and happy flying. See you out there.
