addedThis update mainly focuses on the Flag tools, and should make painting them easier. The biggest change is for the line tool, which can now go in any direction, as opposed to just straight horizontally and vertically.
changedCircle tool has also been improved in a way where it now shows a preview of the circle when you hold down Alt. In addition the shape of circles has also been improved, so hopefully they now look smoother!
addedIn addition, some new colours, patterns and icons have been added to the Random Flag options.
addedFor maps with lots of occupied territory, you can now Right Click on an occupation at it will select its rightful owner . This is especially useful for quickly selecting dead nations.

To draw a line: Hold shift, and click and hold on the initial position and drag towards the end point. Then let go to accept the current line.

Circle tool has also been improved in a way where it now shows a preview of the circle when you hold down Alt. In addition the shape of circles has also been improved, so hopefully they now look smoother!

In addition, some new colours, patterns and icons have been added to the Random Flag options.

For maps with lots of occupied territory, you can now Right Click on an occupation at it will select its rightful owner. This is especially useful for quickly selecting dead nations.

Bugfixes & Improvements

  • Improved Flag Painter tools

    • Line tool (hold shift before drawing) can now draw diagonal lines and you now see a preview before letting go

    • Circle tool (hold alt) now shows a preview before drawing

    • Circle tool circles should now look better and smoother

    • You can now undo clearing the flag

  • Right-clicking on an occupied tile will select the nation with rightful ownership of it (but not when painting territory)

  • Updated scenarios World Map 1914, 1938, 2026 and Asia 2026

  • In Territory and Terrain paint bucket tool will be deselected when switching the main tool off

  • Fixed a bug where you couldn't bucket tool nations own territory when painting rightful territory

  • Fixed a bug where some resolution options in Settings may not have shown up
