Dear Godir, We have a new update: Sprite 1.1 bringing fixes across the board! No longer will the AI snatch up all portals before you have a chance to find them and Gluttonous Imps are now slightly less gluttonous!

The Carnage Cosmic Happening now triggers more often. The final Carnage Cosmic Happening now triggers later. Killing Karissa early now grants bonus Carnage points.

  • Blocked the AI from interacting with Gates during the first 15 turns of a game.

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur with visual effects.

  • Fixed a crash in Evermore that could occur when spawning a Crisis Hero if players don’t own Primal Fury.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur in the Azh’Ruun Pit when an enemy ruler captured a city linked to the Chained Hellion at the realm’s center.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when crisis armies spawned by the “Hour of the Mistcrawlers” event conquered a city.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur during combat when the game attempted to spawn a Clone Unit on an occupied hex.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when loading old saves due to a Reaver Culture maintaining an active Declaration of Supremacy.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when a structure upgrade refunded its token cost.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur on game creation when the Wildlands Realm Trait was selected.

  • Fixed the AI Moving Portals while a Bind Operation was already running.

Art

  • Fixed missing flying animations for Vampire units equipped with a Breach Gun and Axe.

  • Fixed the broken visual effects on Abjurer Glyphs.

  • Fixed the Arachna teleporting instead of moving in combat.

  • Fixed skinning and appearance issues on Merlin, including the left hand.

  • Fixed Owlkin Skin Decorations incorrectly appearing for other Forms.

  • Fixed Magelock Cannons created by the Construct Siege Guns project sometimes appearing without a model.

  • Fixed leaders with a gun-and-sword loadout appearing invisible in the frontend.

  • Fixed hero and unit customization issues with the Barbarian culture.

  • Fixed an issue where the Icon for the Dire Queen status effect was missing.

  • Fixed several visual issues with leader transformations:

    • Stray body parts could clip through the leader’s model after transforming.

    • Some transformations didn’t change the leader’s appearance or play their visual effects.

    • Transformed leaders could appear at the wrong scale on the Hero screen and world map.

Combat

  • Fixed an issue where the Phoenix not playing its death animation when it can auto-resurrect.

  • Fixed Berserk behaving incorrectly on support units that have no damaging abilities.

Economy

  • Fixed multiple resource-sharing issues:

    • Income would be based on and awarded to the Player

    • Sent income being double-counted in received income.

    • Shared income not clearing when a city both sends and receives.

    • Incorrect amounts while in debt.

    • Durations falling below -1 and losing their infinite status.

Interface

  • Fixed the top bar and Event Log using the wrong round number, which could leave the Event Log un-clickable.

  • Fixed a duplicate button appearing in Yaka’s Arcanum.

  • Fixed an issue where the Broken Wizard’s Throne didn’t display its name in the casting point breakdown.

Text & Descriptions

  • Fixed Arcane Accumulation text so it now displays correctly in certain translations, such as Polish.

  • Fixed placeholder debug text appearing in the “Breached Arcanum” event when exploring the ancient wonder of the same name with a hero.

  • Cosmos Beam now correctly shows its width (3) rather than its radius (1) in the tooltip.

  • Fixed a missing tag on Grasping Flora.

  • Corrected the Leviathan Landmark description to refer to turns instead of rounds.

  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect string was linked to DaDa Yuah’s name in Polish.

Items

  • Fixed an issue where Oathsworn and Primal still appeared with inherent Defense Modes. This is now handled by the Item Forge and generator.

Story Realms

  • Fixed the final umbral gate in Tharru’Cath linking to a random gate instead of the correct quest gate, which made the mission appear impossible to complete.

Azh’Ruun Pit

  • Fixed an exploit where the chain-slaking choice could be repeated indefinitely to farm Good alignment.

  • Fixed the Balor Boss sacrifice quest (“Your Overlord Demands a Sacrifice”) offering its options when you hadn’t met the requirements, and not updating or completing correctly.

  • Fixed various broken text strings and missing rewards across side-quests and events, including the chain-city siege events, “Stockade of Sinners,” and “Show Them No Mercy.”

  • Fixed the “Breaking His Law” quest not completing when the Chain of Lies was broken.

  • Fixed an issue where the “Blazing Heels of Steal” would still trigger even if Ysariel was already defeated.

Burrow Downs

  • Fixed the Shrouded Portal event so its Nature option no longer has only negative outcomes.

  • Warped Seasonsfixed the underground staying arctic during spring (adding mushrooms but keeping the arctic climate) and then jumping straight to ashland in summer.
  • Fixed several issues with the “Come Closer” event.

  • Fixed several text and tooltip errors across story events, including “Maleficent Aspect,” “All the Colors of Hope,” “Soarin’s End” (missing Astral icon), and “Lobelia’s End.”

Evermore

  • Fixed several hexes on the raging volcano landmark near Karissa’s shrouded gate that could be walked on, which caused floating stacks.

Tomes

  • Fixed an issue where the Special Province Improvement “Spider’s Nest” had incorrect construction costs.

  • Fixed an issue where City Wards would be cancelled when a province changed sides.

Units

  • Fixed the Priest of the Weave’s Webbed Transfusion being negated by Precognition when used on friendly units.

World Map

  • Fixed an issue where you were able to attack non-siege armies from within a besieged city.

  • Fixed an issue where teleporter structures (Underground Passages, Umbral Gates, Breached/Shrouded Gates) not refreshing their destination link after being connected to one another through script.

  • Structures now correctly reset their story-event state when their adventure set changes, so new story events appear as intended.

  • Fixed an issue where Belbedor’s Arcanum did not have enough units to spawn on higher difficulties.
