Video Dev Log #16 | First Look

Video Developer Log #16 has just been uploaded to Youtube. This log focuses on the new Title Screen, Delete/Options/Credit Scenes, the Permadeath option, Loading Screens, and Ancillary Information of the Main Menu. Let us know what you think, enjoy! ;)

• The Title Screen has been overhauled and now has animated parallax clouds, fog, and a clickable Bug Report button along with social media links.

• The Load Screen now has the ability to delete saved games instead of having to manually delete through Windows.

• The Options Menu now has the following options...

1. Fullscreen - If playing in windowed mode, the size will be saved in your save file so you don't have to resize it every time you want to play

2. Resolution - Right now AoT only supports 1920x1080 (1080p)

3. Mouse Hand - Support for both right and left handed mouse and keyboards

4. Text Speed - Ranging from 1-10 or Instant

5. Background Music Level - Audio channel for Background Music

6. Ambient Sound - Audio channel for Ambient Sound

7. Sound Effects - Audio channel for Sound Effects

8. Post Processing - God Rays, Bloom, etc...

1. The Credits Screen now has clickable website links.

2. The Loading Screen pre-loads images into cached memory for quick access and smoother gameplay. These also contain random Game Tips during load.

3. The Character Creation Scene gives you an option for Survival Mode (Permadeath) or Easy Mode (Infinite Reloads). Those who choose Survival Mode get a special SM banner on their Load graphic.

4. The Main Menu now contains ancillary information such as your Copper amount, Food, Water, and Drink, Daily Expenses, etc... It also has a new Celestial Sun/Moon wheel that turns as time progresses.
