Merry Christmas from the Murder Club!

Merry Christmas to everyone who has downloaded, played, streamed, watched, reviewed, recommended, or even harshly insulted my little lockdown project, After School Murder Club!!

This quote-unquote "game" was made to amuse some Discord friends during a depressing few months at the onset of 2021, and the fact that it's seen over 2500 downloads and had so many great reviews (87% positive at the time of writing) just blows my tiny mind. I'm not a programmer... heck, I barely even qualify as a game dev... and your enthusiasm and encouragement really means the world to me.

I don't know if I'll ever make another game, but if I do, it'd be amazing to see the same kind of support. And if you're reading this and want to make your own games... believe me, you can do it! Because if I can make something, then literally anyone can. There are so many great tools out there - like the free Ren'Py engine that I used to make ASMC - to help amateurs like us get our ideas out into the world.

My goal for 2022: get the Game Grumps to play this. I mean, it's right up their alley, right? It has dumb dialogue, cringe comedy, waifus, and a Wheel of Fortune -inspired minigame. (Plus, there's an Easter egg if you enter your name as "FriendArin", like in their Doki Doki Literature Club! playthrough.) I'm sure we can make this happen! Arin Hanson, if you're reading this, you know you want to.
