The A321XLR has been in service since October 2024 and flies on transcontinental and some intercontinental routes. The A321-253NY is powered by two CFM LEAP-1A33B2X turbofan engines with 143.5 kN of thrust, and the A321-271NY has two PW1133GAR-JM geared turbofan engines, each with 147.3 kN of thrust.

  • Minor autopilot bug fixes

  • Minor assistance bug fixes

We've made additional changes in the A321XLR which we plan to roll out to the entire A320 family at a later date:

  • Status page automatically removed after 3 seconds when status normal

  • Changes to the alternate braking logic and hydraulics

  • Nose wheel steering and brakes can now fail when hydraulic pressure is lost

  • Additional indications on the ECAM wheel page

  • Nose gear light visual model removed, not needed since we've installed the MFRL in the wing root
