Adventurer's Gambit: Dungeons of Fortune changes
This update introduces six new Whirlwind ability perks, brings balance adjustments to sword-wielding zombie enemies and weapon traps, and fixes a client disconnect triggered by weapon unequipping.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where unequipping a weapon could sometimes cause a client disconnect.
Features
Whirlwind Perks
Six new perks are now available for the Whirlwind ability:
Repulsion Ring — Instead of pulling enemies inward, each tick pushes enemies outward from the center.
Ring of Steel — Whirlwind no longer hits near the caster; it only damages enemies on the outer edge of the radius.
Execution Spiral — Whirlwind deals only 10% of normal tick damage to healthy enemies until they drop below 50% HP, then deals 3× tick damage.
Sanctuary Spin — Heals allies while active for the same amount as the tick damage. If Execution Spiral is active, the same threshold logic also applies to the healing behavior.
Bone Breaker — Every 3rd tick, enemies inside Whirlwind are briefly stunned for 0.5 seconds.
Countercurrent — Enemies performing melee attacks inside Whirlwind deflect those attacks back to themselves.
Balance Changes
Reduced the Whirlwind ability radius of sword-wielding zombie enemies from 2m to 1.5m.
Reduced sword weapon trap damage by 50%.
