addedNew Global Loot Era & Amityvale Bank OpensAmityvale introduces a new quest that unlocks its spooky-but-functional bank , expanding town progression and convenience for gear storage. A major Global Loot system is also being introduced as groundwork for Loot 2.0 , allowing monsters to drop level-scaling gear from multiple item “buckets,” alongside new Regional Loot tied to areas like Doomwood and Greenguard. In addition, BOne has been relocated to the Crypt of Mortis to create a new gameplay hotspot, and new RAW variants of BOne/BMany rewards have been added with a darker visual style.
addedLoot Changes: Global LootAs we prepare for Loot 2.0, we are laying out some foundational changes to AdventureQuest 3D by introducing a new Global Loot system that should solve a long-standing problem in AQ3D's level process of constantly needing to drop what you are doing and go find gear. With the changes we've made to the game, players should expect a constant stream of drops from any monster they kill that scales to their level. I'd like to explain the system for how this works... Essentially, we have a Global Loot group active right now; this group has maps assigned to it. Within this group, there are buckets, and in this case, there is a bucket for each item category. So like... Armors , Melee Weapons , Gloves , etc are all their own bucket . When you kill a monster, the game will roll on all of those groups and decide if you've got delicious loot or not. Currently, you can only get one of each group per kill. For this Global Loot group, each bucket has a 1.5% chance to drop a piece of gear. That's roughly 1 drop from each category every 67 kills. Of course, this is a random chance, so that's just an average.
addedLoot Changes: Regional LootIn addition to the changes listed above, we've also added Regional Loot . Regional Loot, as the name suggests, is a group of drops that drop exclusively in the region of Doomwood. So while you are slaying skeletons in the depths of Doomwood your character will be pulled from both the Global Loot pool and the Regional Loot pool.
addedLoot Changes: Regional LootSteam post imageWe've also made a Regional Loot group for Greenguard and hope to expand these regional buckets and include new ones as we develop the system and work towards Loot 2.0 .
changedRaw Blade of BOne and BManyWhile I was at, I made some RAW variants of the BOne/BMany rewards which kinda darken out the glow a bit. They are not drastically different, but I figured I'd drop them in as a bonus for anyone who can access those items.
changedBone Reaper Hammers LTSThe Venom Bone Reaper Hammer smashes into the limited‑time shop as the toxic. With venom‑green hues, bone‑carved motifs, and an aura that feels distilled from pure Doomwood rot, this hammer looks like it was pulled straight from a cursed crypt. It will be available for the next month only.

New Global Loot Era & Amityvale Bank Opens

Amityvale introduces a new quest that unlocks its spooky-but-functional bank, expanding town progression and convenience for gear storage. A major Global Loot system is also being introduced as groundwork for Loot 2.0, allowing monsters to drop level-scaling gear from multiple item “buckets,” alongside new Regional Loot tied to areas like Doomwood and Greenguard. In addition, BOne has been relocated to the Crypt of Mortis to create a new gameplay hotspot, and new RAW variants of BOne/BMany rewards have been added with a darker visual style.

Loot Changes: Global Loot

As we prepare for Loot 2.0, we are laying out some foundational changes to AdventureQuest 3D by introducing a new Global Loot system that should solve a long-standing problem in AQ3D's level process of constantly needing to drop what you are doing and go find gear. Of course, this is a random chance, so that's just an average.

Loot Changes: Regional Loot

In addition to the changes listed above, we've also added Regional Loot. Regional Loot, as the name suggests, is a group of drops that drop exclusively in the region of Doomwood. So while you are slaying skeletons in the depths of Doomwood your character will be pulled from both the Global Loot pool and the Regional Loot pool.

Steam post imageWe've also made a Regional Loot group for Greenguard and hope to expand these regional buckets and include new ones as we develop the system and work towards Loot 2.0.

BOne Moved to the Crypt of Mortis

I've decided to move BOne to the Crypt of Mortis so players can double up on multiple activities and we can create better hotspots for player populations. This strange bone boy now lives... or I guess unlives on the second floor of the Crypt of Mortis. All associated boss monsters are also in the same room as him as rare spawns.

Raw Blade of BOne and BMany

While I was at, I made some RAW variants of the BOne/BMany rewards which kinda darken out the glow a bit. They are not drastically different, but I figured I'd drop them in as a bonus for anyone who can access those items.

Bone Reaper Hammers LTS

The Venom Bone Reaper Hammer smashes into the limited‑time shop as the toxic. With venom‑green hues, bone‑carved motifs, and an aura that feels distilled from pure Doomwood rot, this hammer looks like it was pulled straight from a cursed crypt. It will be available for the next month only.

The Onyx Bone Reaper Hammer has risen in the limited‑time shop! This dark warhammer blends sinister might with brutal force, glowing with golden accents, obsidian tones, and skull‑etched craftsmanship. It’s ideal for heroes who want their smashes stylish, intimidating, and unmistakably deadly. It will remain available until the first release of next month.

Monthly Promo: Bone Reaper Hammer

The Bone Reaper Hammer has erupted into this month’s promo lineup! This brutal, skull‑forged warhammer is yours when you purchase any package from the Upgrade Shop. Its fiery glow, bone‑carved craftsmanship, and reaper‑themed design make it a perfect blend of sinister style and crushing power.

And for our Guardians, there’s even more to reap. You’ll unlock the Guardian’s Bone Reaper Hammer, an exclusive variant with gold detailing to its fearsome glory.

Both versions will remain available until the first release of next month, so don’t miss your chance to claim this devastating Doomwood‑themed weapon for your collection.
