Adventure Springs Bakery changes
FREE Demo Dropping This Week + Early Access Launches April 20th!
Hey future bakers! We're Robinson Games — solo developer of Adventure Springs Bakery — and we're thrilled to make our very first announcement: the free demo goes live THIS WEEK, and Early Access launches in just 7 days!
What is Adventure Springs Bakery?
Adventure Springs Bakery is a cozy bakery management sim designed for kids aged 3–10 and their families. You'll bake treats, set prices, serve quirky customers, decorate your dream shop, and learn real business skills — all with your companion cat Daisey by your side. Steam post image Your bakery, your rules. Bake cookies, serve customers, and grow your business! Oh, and every single pixel and sound in the game is generated entirely by code. No external art files. No audio files. The whole game fits in under 10MB and runs on literally anything.
What's in the Demo?
The free demo lets you experience the heart of Adventure Springs Bakery:
3 full days of bakery management gameplay
6 delicious recipes to bake — cookies, chocolate cookies, cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, cake, and chocolate cake
Full avatar customization — pick your hairstyle, outfit, skin tone, and accessories
Daisey the cat with her full 100+ lines of contextual commentary (she WILL roast your pricing)
Customer interactions — chat with visitors, watch them react to your prices, and learn what sells
Your first Learning Scenario — "Goods & Services" teaches real economics through play
Steam post image 36 learning scenarios teach real business concepts — from goods & services to profit margins. If your kids have ever said "I want to run a shop!" — this is their chance. And yours to play together.
What's Coming in Early Access?

Full shop customization — 17 wallpapers, 19 furniture items (bubble machine! tesla coils! pinball machine!), 10 counter styles including a FISH TANK with real swimming fish
16 animal visitors — ducks, hedgehogs, raccoons, and the mysterious Harold the Blob

Steam post image Set your own prices and watch the profit margins in real time. Green = profit, red = loss. Economics has never been this tasty.
Who Is This Game For?
Kids aged 3–10 who love cooking games, shop games, or simulation games
Parents looking for screen time that actually teaches something — pricing, profit margins, supply & demand, and budgeting
Homeschooling families — the 36 scenarios function as a self-paced business & economics curriculum with quizzes and certificates
Teachers looking for classroom enrichment tools
Cozy gamers of any age who want a chill, wholesome, zero-stress experience
No ads. No microtransactions. No internet required. No inappropriate content. Just baking, learning, and fun.
Meet Daisey
Your companion cat Daisey sits in the corner of your bakery and comments on everything. She'll congratulate you on a good sale, warn you when prices are too high, drop random maths facts, react to your costume choices, and occasionally just... be a cat about it. She has over 100 unique context-aware dialogue lines. Kids absolutely love her. You can customize her fur color and hat. Yes, she wears hats. Steam post image Daisey has opinions. Many, many opinions. "DING DING! Your baking is ready! Click the oven before it goes cold. Meow!"
Why Wishlist?
Wishlisting is the single biggest thing you can do to support a solo indie developer. Here's what it does:
You get notified the moment the game launches (and when it goes on sale)
It helps Steam's algorithm show the game to more families who'd love it
It's free and takes 2 seconds
It makes a solo dev's entire week — genuinely, every single wishlist notification makes me smile
If this sounds like something your family would enjoy, please hit that Wishlist button. And if you know a parent, teacher, or homeschooler who might be interested — share this page with them!
The Roadmap Ahead
Early Access is just the beginning. Here's what's planned:
More recipes and seasonal events
More learning scenarios and quiz content
Mac support
Community-requested features and improvements
Full release with even more content
Your feedback during Early Access will directly shape the game. This is a bakery we're building together.
