ACT LIKE TOYS! (A.L.T.) changes
Devlog: What We’ve Been Cooking Up for Q3 2026!
Hello everyone!
We are hard at work polishing and expanding the game, all aimed at our official launch target in Q3 2026.
Thanks to continuous internal testing and valuable feedback from our community, we’ve been refining core systems, squashing bugs, and adding exciting new features across the board. Here is a quick look at what we’ve been working on!
1. Revamped Lives & Revival System
While testing our current builds, we realized that the life and revival mechanics felt a bit too punishing—especially during solo play. We want the game to stay challenging and thrilling, but never feel unfair.
3 Base Lives: Players will now start with 3 default lives to give you a bit more breathing room.
- Streamlined RevivesThe process of reviving your teammates has been simplified so you can get back into the action faster without unnecessary friction.
2. All-New Item System
Our goal is to create gameplay filled with unpredictable, hilarious, and dynamic choices. To take things beyond standard hide-and-seek, we are actively developing an In-Game Functional Item System!
Players will now be able to pick up and trigger various functional items during a match.
Depending on situational RNG and drop rates, these items will add exciting variables, giving you creative ways to outsmart your opponents or escape tight spots.
3. A Brand-New Stage in Development
As we move closer to release, we’re actively building fresh environments for you to explore.
We are currently designing a new stage that features a completely different level design and gameplay concept compared to our existing demo stage.
It’s shaping up great, and we can’t wait to share a sneak peek with you once it’s a bit further along!
4. General Polish & QoL Improvements
Behind the scenes, we’re also focusing heavily on:
Rebalancing game mechanics for smoother pacing.
Squashing pesky bugs and performance issues.
Enhancing overall player feel and UI/UX responsiveness.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has wishlisted, shared, and supported our game so far. Seeing your excitement keeps our team motivated every single day!
We can't wait to show you more of what we’ve been building very soon. Stay tuned for our next update!
Thank you! — The Dev Team
