Hey everyone,

What changed

0 fixes2 additions2 changes0 removals
  • Maps
  • Workshop
  • Performance
  • Gameplay
changedHere's what you'll get at launch:6 maps, from big open areas to tighter, more technical spots
changedHere's what you'll get at launch:You can grab a ready-made drone and just fly, or head into the workshop and build your own from scratch, swapping parts and tuning your PIDs however you like.
addedWhy Early Access?I'm being upfront here: ACRODRIFT is fully playable, but it isn't finished. Early Access lets me keep building it with your feedback and support. That means better flight physics, better performance, new features, and more handcrafted environments to fly in. I'd rather shape the rest of this sim with the people actually flying it than do it alone in a corner.
addedWhy Early Access? Thanks for sticking around and following the project. Add ACRODRIFT to your wishlist so you don't miss the launch, and I'll see you in the air.

I've got a date for you. ACRODRIFT: FPV Drone Simulator is launching in Early Access on August 7, 2026. I've been building this sim mostly on my own, with a 3D artist helping out along the way, and getting to actually write down a release date feels a little surreal.

ACRODRIFT is an FPV drone simulator I've tried to make feel right in the air, whether you've never touched a radio before or you've been flying acro for years.

Here's what you'll get at launch:

  • 6 maps, from big open areas to tighter, more technical spots

  • 3 game modes: Free Flight (just fly, no objective), Race (through gates against the clock), and Collection (grab the items)

  • Over 20 challenges at different difficulty levels

  • 11 frames for building drones from 1.6 to 5 inches, and 13 motors to go with them

  • 5 flight modes: Acro and 3D for the advanced crowd, Angle and PosHold if you're still finding your feet

You can grab a ready-made drone and just fly, or head into the workshop and build your own from scratch, swapping parts and tuning your PIDs however you like.

If you fly on real gear, ACRODRIFT supports gamepads and proper drone radios too, including the Radiomaster TX12, TX16S, Boxer, T8 Lite V2, the FlySky FS-i6X, and much more!

Why Early Access?

I'm being upfront here: ACRODRIFT is fully playable, but it isn't finished. Early Access lets me keep building it with your feedback and support. That means better flight physics, better performance, new features, and more handcrafted environments to fly in. I'd rather shape the rest of this sim with the people actually flying it than do it alone in a corner.

Thanks for sticking around and following the project. Add ACRODRIFT to your wishlist so you don't miss the launch, and I'll see you in the air.
