Blueprint Visibility, Copy-Paste Functions & Summer Sale

Hi everyone, Like every year, the steam summer sale is lurking at the front door and also got AColony in his hands. This hot summer, with a -35% discount. In addition, I have also a new (but smaller one) update (v0.6.

addedIn addition, I have also a new (but smaller one) update (v0.6.055) , which includes some quality of life features, like blue print visibility, copy & paste mechanics + some taming balancing.
addedBlueprint Visibility SliderI have added a new option in the ingame graphics menu, which allows you to set the transparency / alpha value of all blueprints. This can be very useful, if you have many of them placed and your view gets more and more blocked.
removedBlueprint Visibility SliderWhen the slider is on 0 (fully invisible), the functionality to select blueprints is automatically disabled + if you go into the build or destroy mode, the blueprints will appear again (so that you don't have to always push the slider back again)
addedCopy & PasteI have finally added the functionality for copy and paste the setup of storage zones as well as some crafting tables.
addedCopy & PasteStorage Zones: The storage zone menu includes now a new icon, which allows you to copy and paste the whole setup to any zone you want.

I have to say, if you try to copy to setup of a higher age table to a lower age table (like to paste crafting machine guns on the basic weapon table), these get automatically sorted out without any problems.

I have finally added the functionality for copy and paste the setup of storage zones as well as some crafting tables.

Taming Skills

After some more player feedback and also from my own playing sessions, I noticed that taming animals (mostly increasing the skill) can be very difficult or take very long. In the past, I actually built the balancing in a way that I thought that it would be used more often / frequently.

To make taming more fun and also more rewarding, I have increased the skill points you get from taming actions.

  • Petting an animal brings now around +130% more skill points

  • Taming wild animals brings now around 100 - 300% more skill points (mainly the points from bigger ones or queen and king insects got drastically increased)

Question

Regarding balancing (if about skills, prices, speeds, or other aspects of the game), do you have some observations or suggestions where it still feels a bit unbalanced?

Patch Notes:

Last but not least, here are the patch notes of this smaller update:

  • added copy / paste for item zones

  • added copy / paste for crafting tables

  • added copy / paste for cooking tables

  • added copy / paste for butcher tables

  • added blueprint invisible slider (found in graphics settings)

  • increased taming skill from animals & pets significantly

  • fixed error when statistic files was corrupted / empty (very rare)

  • fixed some ui panel materials

  • fixed some smaller things
