Upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.6
Fixed specular light flicker on distant water
Upgraded to TSR (Temporal Super Resolution) as the anti-aliasing method at "High" a "Epic" AA quality levels. "Medium" will switch back to the old TAA method. "Off" will now actually disable all AA (this was not getting applied previously). This change will improve sharpness and reduce ghost trails but may reduce performance on GPUs with limited memory.
Improved physics performance (CPU)
Multi-Threaded sail rendering and optimizations
Fixed foil particles generating at the wrong position
Added option for creating custom races with a wind offset of 180 degrees
Improved stat error handling for tournaments and global fleet rank updates
Fixed gates not detecting player in solo race after restarting
Potential/Known issues:
The tutorials will not have any icons indicating keys to press for the time being until we go back through each one and update them.
Legacy replay files will play but may run slower or have minor issues.
Steering wheels may behave differently. We have done our best to test but its hard to predict how different hardware will behave. Please notify us of issues.
