Hey, been a while.. Here's an update of something I just got done with, and thought why not releasing it now. So what do we have here for 1.5?

Hey, been a while.. Here's an update of something I just got done with, and thought why not releasing it now.

changedUI Sounds (about time tbh)
addedUpgrade system where you can max out your primary rifle and your health using.. MONEY $$$ There are 2 ways to earn money in Abyss Veil: Killing enemies for a couple scraps! Finding dog tags that you can now sell on CrimeOS black market across Lily Archipelago!
changedThis is also why the upgrade system was put into place too, as a way to give a sense of progression and make the late game... less of a PAIN. I plan to expand on the upgrade system and Lily's black market. But as of now, It'll be dog tags and some permanent status boosts you can buy. Thanks to one of the goats in the Discord for the dog tag ideas, and thanks to my friend subaru.baja for the quick dog tag model. I wanted to give more purpose to explore the big, poorly designed maps I had made a year or 2 ago. Hope it fills it all out a little!
changedThe menu will now change upon unveiling the last log file Pinto can go through, with the A.V.
addedSome bugfixes, but I may have added new bugs now that I'm pushing this update quite early lol, please let me know if you're about to play or.. replaying this 8 hours long mess.. for god knows why!
addedSo this conclude this somewhat small update, I haven't had much time to work on it, and was also quite burnt out. But seeing everybody's reviews and love I've received on social medias.. Well ya know, it's more bullets to fuel the war against Godot that is making this game. The new upgrade system may not be perfect as of yet, but I think I've got a somewhat decent system to expand upon. See you next time!

    There are 2 ways to earn money in Abyss Veil:

    • Killing enemies for a couple scraps!

    • Finding dog tags that you can now sell on CrimeOS black market across Lily Archipelago!

  • Better lighting/atmosphere and more resources, especially in the later levels! This is something I've realized when replaying earlier last month, you guys were right. The game is way too hard past the eslum5 & visual novel investigation part.
