Repeated intro

Hey, adventurers!

What changed

  • UI and audio
  • Maps
  • Gameplay
  • Balance
changedGraphic Settings - This has been one of the most requested features from players. FPS limits, resolution options, Vsync, and other options. This has caused some issues for players and I’m bringing it up with the developers to see how we can implement changes to address these problems. This is the number one priority on my mind for changes.
changedCamera a Bit Too Close and Speed of Camera Causing Motion Sickness - While there is a setting in the options to bring the camera far away, I’m seeing players ask us to tweak this more. Also, the camera zipping across the map to view enemies plus the speed of the camera moving around with the mouse has been making some people nauseous. First off, we are sorry for any one that has gotten motion sickness. Secondly, know that fixing this is one of our top priorities.
changedExtra Sound Settings - I’m hearing players ask for better control over the music, sound effects, and narrator’s voiceover in the game, with the ability to change levels on all three. We’ll look into this and see what kinds of changes can be made.
addedHotkeys - Some players have asked us to add hotkeys for actions in battle to reduce the amount of clicking actions with the mouse. This makes sense to me, so I’m asking what it might take to implement hotkeys.
changedExtra Data in Battles - This includes battle logs, enemy movement spaces, damage calculations before the attack, etc. This would help with strategizing and optimizing the best plan for attack. I definitely see why that’d be helpful and I am bringing it up!

So, first off, thank you for playing Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy! It’s very exciting to see players enjoying our game! And I especially want to thank you all for taking the time to leave your feedback.

Let’s start talking about some of the feedback that I’ve been hearing and addressing them!

Graphic Settings - This has been one of the most requested features from players. FPS limits, resolution options, Vsync, and other options. This has caused some issues for players and I’m bringing it up with the developers to see how we can implement changes to address these problems. This is the number one priority on my mind for changes.

Camera a Bit Too Close and Speed of Camera Causing Motion Sickness - While there is a setting in the options to bring the camera far away, I’m seeing players ask us to tweak this more. Also, the camera zipping across the map to view enemies plus the speed of the camera moving around with the mouse has been making some people nauseous. First off, we are sorry for any one that has gotten motion sickness. Secondly, know that fixing this is one of our top priorities.

Extra Sound Settings - I’m hearing players ask for better control over the music, sound effects, and narrator’s voiceover in the game, with the ability to change levels on all three. We’ll look into this and see what kinds of changes can be made.

Steam Cloud Support - I saw that some players wanted this option so they could play between laptops and PC or to have as a backup. I’ll ask if this option is possible!

Hotkeys - Some players have asked us to add hotkeys for actions in battle to reduce the amount of clicking actions with the mouse. This makes sense to me, so I’m asking what it might take to implement hotkeys.

Extra Data in Battles - This includes battle logs, enemy movement spaces, damage calculations before the attack, etc. This would help with strategizing and optimizing the best plan for attack. I definitely see why that’d be helpful and I am bringing it up!

Again, thank you all for your feedback! Hearing from you helps us improve the game and make it more enjoyable for more adventurers! I’m bringing everything in the above to the developers to see what we can do to support the changes requested.

Have a good weekend! -Riv Otter
