Patch 1.0.2 - Character Movement Speed, Water Sources and Bug Fixes

Howdy adventurers!

We are happy to roll out version 1.0.2 of Above Snakes: Prologue and fix many of the small bugs that have been reported and also do some improvements to balancing and localization!

Balancing

• Increased character movement speed (please let us know if it feels better).

• "Healthy" buff that is applied if all needs are above 50%, provides health regeneration.

• Lake water replenishes much faster now (we will completely change this mechanic in the full version).

Fixes

• Fixed a bug that stopped you from progressing when eating a huckleberry from your inventory instead of from the hot bar during "Don't Starve!" quest.

• Fixed a bug that stopped you from progressing when you built a roof over Jo Ann's note.

• Mushroom soup recipe is now actually added to recipes if the recipe book is used.

• Fixed that death lead to the main menu (instead of loading the save game).

• Fixed that vanilla and honey now properly make a recipe when cooked.

• Fixed endless money glitch by selling robes.

• Fixed that cartography table sometimes was not interactable when placed too closed to a wall.

• Grass does not clip through foundations anymore.

• Fixed that character falling animation played near lakes.

• Fixed a bug that caused items to duplicate in storage chests.

• If a workstation is not in range, the UI shows the text "Requires ..." in red.

• Inventory headers are now translated properly.

• Fixed that Aiyana's position and the workbench were invisible on the map at night.

• Changed the UI symbol that is shown for fishing spots if the player has no rod (also shown at some other occasions).

• Recipe Book can be trashed and sold.

• Syrup does not show "cookd meal" in recipe book.

• Flora Rivers hat matches her portait

• Inside the starting house you can not step on grass.

Localization

• Major improvements to Chinese localization (shout-out and thank you to community member Bill Wu).

• Some improvements to German localization.

• Minor improvements to all other localizations.

We also want to thank everybody for playing Above Snakes: Prologue! We are truly overwhelmed with the feedback! Also, if you haven't already done that, we would appreciate an honest Steam review.
