🛠 Major Quality-of-Life Improvements
Round Progress Save — no more starting over after death
Dying no longer wipes your progress. Activated power nodes and collected diary pages now persist across deaths within the same run. A new seed-based save system ensures that:
Power nodes you activated stay activated when you respawn
Diary pages you collected stay collected and visible in your inventory
Node, diary and escape item positions remain consistent across respawns of the same run
A fresh run from the Main Menu starts with a new seed, so the layout is different every time
Calmer Respawn — no more instant UFO catch
The UFO no longer spawns the moment you respawn after dying. The world is quiet again until you press the ping — exactly like the start of the game. You finally have time to breathe, look around, and plan your next move.
Cover Pass
Added new cover spots across the map to give players more options to hide from the UFO during chases.
Settings Notes
Added a clarification under the Resolution dropdown: in Borderless mode, resolution always matches your desktop. This is standard Unreal Engine behavior.
Misc
Round progress is properly cleared when starting a New Game from the main menu
