Hotfix v1.4.0.28206 Changes:

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Pets not equipped as a Companion disappearing while their scientist is riding on a Tram.

  • Pets not equipped as a Companion will now teleport to their last safe location if they fall into a death pit by accident.

  • IS-0223

appears to have realized that it’s what’s inside that matters - what’s inside a generous scientist’s Canteen, Water Bottle, or Soup Bowl, that is.

  • Fixed the level 17 Cooking skill perk "Serving Seconds" adding portions to baked foods & items that shouldn’t have portions.

  • Fixed a bug causing a “Cannot bake” error message to appear when cooking food in a Frying Pan.

  • Packaging single-ingredient Bad Soup no longer turns the soup into the ingredient it was made from.

  • Packaging a cooked Shrimps Pack no longer turns it into a single Shrimp.

  • Fixed an issue causing Clients to see non-interactable ghost seeds at the base of plants after the world save is rehosted.

  • Fixed an issue causing the ammo count for

    Skinks

    (when used as a

    weapon

) to replenish if dropped and picked back up after rehosting the world save.

  • Fixed a bug that caused some gadgets (such as the Geiger Counter) to behave oddly after a scientist dies and respawns.

  • Art changed on the NG (Neebs) ID Card.

  • Fixed the orientation of multiple items when displayed on an Item Stand (Wall).

  • Grayson has repaired the busted light on the Construction Sign and sends his apologies for the trouble. It’s not safe to work in the dark!

  • Added the “Toggle Wall Tilt” option, which allows scientists to swap between the new item rotation version (which has fixed tilt angles) and the old item rotation version (which can angle the object based on how a scientist is positioned).

  • Fixed the Laser

    Reflector

rotation so that it’s consistent with how the Laser

    Emitter

    rotates.

  • Fixed an issue preventing scientists from using the right-click context menu to deploy various items from their inventory.

  • Fixed an issue preventing a crafting recipe from being reselected if it was hidden due to not matching the previous (but now cleared) search terms.

  • Added some fixes to prevent PS5 scientists from experiencing a crash after logging in and out multiple times.

Onward to science!
