Free content update "So Hot" coming to Puzzleburg February 2025

I'm very excited to announce that the cozy RPG A Weekend in Puzzleburg (Steam page here) will be getting a free content update called So Hot releasing February 2025 for the game's 2-year anniversary.

addedWhen I launched A Weekend in Puzzleburg back on February 17, 2023 (nearly two years ago at this point), there were a few ideas I really liked but were too complex to get into the game by its launch date. So I held onto those ideas and kept plugging away on them post-launch. For the game's one-year anniversary in February 2024, I added these three quests :

addedFor the game's 2-year anniversary, I'm adding another two quests :

addedQuite a Pickle (side quest): A Puzzleburg citizen has a jar of pickles that just won't open. See if you can figure out who has a technique to get it open, and maybe you'll even pick up a new skill you can use in your own life!

addedThe two side quests will be added to the Everything You Can See and Do in Puzzleburg guide when the free content update goes live so that you know exactly how to trigger each one.

addedAnd of course, Dante the hotel concierge has hints for each stage of these new quests . Just like all the quests in the game, he always has a hint at the ready so you never get stuck!

addedWhether this will be your first trip to Puzzleburg or an enticement to go back for a return trip, I hope you enjoy the new things to do in town when the free content update So Hot arrives February 2025 .

When I launched A Weekend in Puzzleburg back on February 17, 2023 (nearly two years ago at this point), there were a few ideas I really liked but were too complex to get into the game by its launch date. So I held onto those ideas and kept plugging away on them post-launch. For the game's one-year anniversary in February 2024, I added these three quests:

Billie the Kid (side quest)
The One Yo-Yo (side quest)
Do Not Disturb (main quest)

For the game's 2-year anniversary, I'm adding another two quests:

So Hot (side quest): this is a simple-on-the-surface quest to get some sunscreen for someone in Puzzleburg. If you complete this quest, you are then interviewed by the recipient for their social media feed, with the interview branching based on your chosen profession! Feedback from players on the job class selection has been positive, but I've always personally wanted to do a bit more with it, and this quest leverages your chosen profession to further customize your weekend in Puzzleburg
