A Token War changes
We are extremely excited to announce that A Token War is now fully released and available on our Steam page! It’s been a long journey to get here and we couldn’t be more happy with the result. We wanted to again thank everyone who helped us get here and we hope you enjoy playing A Token War as much as we enjoyed making it!
Here are a few things we wanted to address with the launch -
Resources
Check out our getting started video series for tips on strategy and building your collection. You can also read our getting started guide in the Community Hub!
Why no early access?
It’s a fairly common practice these days to have a somewhat extended early access phase for new games, rather than a full release. We decided to forego early access primarily because we believe that after a closed beta, A Token War is ready! For games on a larger scale, early access can help iron out a lot of details. For a much tighter experience like A Token War, however, early access can sometimes stretch on a bit too long without a lot of benefit.
What about updates? Will the game be actively Updated?
Yes! We will continue to actively update and improve A Token War based on user feedback.
What about DLC?
For now, we plan to focus on the core game, with our updates and new features being free. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any larger expansions in the future which would be available as DLC.
Leave a Review!
This isn’t a question, but if you play A Token War and you enjoy it, leaving a review is both extremely helpful for us and for allowing prospective players to discover the game.
