Hey everyone!
We’re putting together this update to collect in one place everything we’ve already shown so far and to remind you that A Story About Farting 2 is steadily moving forward.
If you played the first game, you know things can get… strange.
This time, the chaos moves to ancient Egypt.
Here’s a rundown of where we are:
Animation Preview
Here’s one of the sample animations we've shared before — a quick look at the style and tone of the upcoming adventure. More sequences are already in production and will appear in future updates.
Soundtrack Sample
We’ve also shared snippets of the growing soundtrack: playful, slightly epic, and unmistakably connected to the absurd legend of Tutankafart.
As production continues, more tracks will join the playlist — including character themes and in-game background loops.
UI Sneak Peek (Shop Interface)
A while back we revealed the first draft of the in-game shop UI, and we’re including it here again as part of the showcase. It represents the direction we're taking: simple, readable, and stylized with a touch of dusty Egyptian charm.
Development Status
Work on the game continues, and here’s the current state:
✔ A significant portion of Level 1 programming is completed ✔ Partial voice acting is in progress ✔ New characters are joining the cast — including the legendary, chubby mentor-cat Meow-Hotep ✔ Animations, UI and gameplay systems are expanding step by step
There have been delays along the way, but the project is active, alive and moving forward.
Story Teaser
The first game told a completely different tale, but A Story About Farting 2 opens a new chapter — this time under the burning Egyptian sun.
A foolish high priest. A curse gone very, very wrong. A pharaoh whose stomach becomes a national threat. A fat cat who suddenly understands ancient magic.
It’s a ridiculous, chaotic legend wrapped in sand, satire and supernatural stink — and you're going to be right in the middle of it.
