A Storied Life: Tabitha changes
It’s launch day! A Storied Life: Tabitha is out now on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
A Storied Life: Tabitha is a wholesome narrative puzzle game about the objects we leave behind and the stories they tell about a life once lived. The story changes based on player’s decisions, with multiple secrets, surprises and endings to discover, as well as daily puzzles and collectibles to unlock. “This has been one of the most fulfilling projects we’ve ever worked on, and we’re so excited to finally get the full game into player’s hands,” said Lab42 Games’ studio director Terry Goodwin and writer Cherish Goldstraw, who you’ll recognise from the dev vlogs. “We’ve been bowled over by the positive reception so far, and it’s been a pleasure watching people resonate with our little game. We hope they enjoy the full experience just as much.”
Launch celebrations and a special delivery
As part of our launch day celebrations, Lab42 and Secret Mode got together(we’re lucky enough to be just across the road from each other) for a little party with the theme of ‘dress as a story strand or character’, and as you can see, we had a range of outfits from witches to grieving widows, and yes, that is Lucia dressed as a packing box.
We also had a few of the puzzles from the game printed for us to solve IRL...
...and a very special IRL delivery. A miniature version of the sewing room from the game created by FromBeeWithLove. If you check out her account you can see some videos of the building process along with a closer look at some of the teeny tiny little details.
Upcoming Competition
Keep your eyes peeled for an exciting competition going live in the coming days. To keep up to date, you’ll want to follow us on socials and join our Discord server.

Launch Bundles
We've teamed up with some other incredible dev teams to bundle with their games at launch, including a bundle with Whisper of the House, Undusted: Letters from the Past, Hidden Around the World and Pieced Together.
We’re so excited to finally share this game with you all. We hope you love it as much as we do. We’d absolutely love it if you could leave us a review. We promise we’ll read every single one. That’s all for now. Thanks again for supporting us and our game. - The Tabitha Team
