Meanwhile, we’re also working hard on a small content update that will be released tomorrow ! 🛠️✨ We want to keep developing A Simple Job together with you – so: Tell us your wishes! Whether it’s core improvements, absurd gameplay ideas, or brand-new jobs – everything is welcome. A basketball hoop? A button with a personality? Or an office with... even more chaos? 🏀💥 Get creative – the coolest ideas might (maybe) make it straight into the game! 😈 💡 And don’t worry: As long as you’re playing A Simple Job , we’ll keep delivering new content – no matter how crazy, absurd, or pointless it may be. The more you press, the more you get back. Promise. 😇🔴 🛠️ Mini-Update – 07. June 🔧 We’ve got a small but sweet update for you: 🥇 New Achievement:
addedA brand-new achievement is here – and it lets you mess with the boss a little.
addedYou can now play in windowed mode! You’ll find it in the settings – that means the Settings room. Have fun clicking in and out.
addedTwo of you maniacs actually made a guide on Steam! We love it – and we love you. Thanks for being our test subjects... and yes, you pressed the button. Of course you did. 🔴💥 (you might want to update the guide now for that new achievement xD)

  • But be careful: We hope he doesn’t come back twice as fast... 😈

📺 Windowed Mode Option:

  • You can now play in windowed mode! You’ll find it in the settings – that means the Settings room. Have fun clicking in and out.

🗺️ Room Display:

  • From now on, the game will show which room you’re in in the top right corner. No more getting lost (well... in theory).

🏆 Achievement Help:

  • Room specific achievements now show which room you can find them in. Because we know how much you hate searching. 😉

📚 Community Guide:

  • Two of you maniacs actually made a guide on Steam! We love it – and we love you. Thanks for being our test subjects... and yes, you pressed the button. Of course you did. 🔴💥 (you might want to update the guide now for that new achievement xD)

🛠️ More Fixes & Improvements: 🧱 Ceiling fixed:

  • Now you can only leave the map on purpose. No more unauthorized flying adventures! 😅 - I see you misterM!

🎍Plant repaired:

  • You can no longer walk through the plant like it’s air. (Jesus why is there always one collider missing!)

🖼️ Sleep window improved:

  • Looks way better on wide screens now – some parts weren’t displaying properly before. Now enjoy sweeter dreams in better resolution. 😌✨
