Getting Started / Useful Tips

I wanted to provide some useful tips for the beginning of the game, in case you're feeling lost.

Stop reading if you don't want ANY spoilers.

1. The first place you'll want visit is the garage.

2. Head to the back of the garage and grab the note along with the flashlight, which is in the drawer.

3. Once you have the flashlight you can turn it on/off by (default) pressing "F" on Keyboard / X on Xbox gamepad / Square on PlayStation controller.

4. Read the note! The note will tell you where to go next.

5. When you get inside the house (you'll need a key (read the note!)), be sure to poke around...

6. Ultimately, if you're ever feeling lost in the game, refer to the Notes or Audio Logs-- they'll always point you in the right direction.

That's it! Use the force. Use the notes (and listen to the audio logs) and everything should click.
