addedAlong with a screenshake on-off toggle, update v 1.0.4 brings you a new screen in options menu: Difficulty settings, AKA assist mode!
addedNew difficulty settings are:
changedEnabling casual difficulty gives you 3 per lives per level. This was once available with a hidden code, now became an open option. Achievements in this mode are less and different, as before. This is not to punish players who have a hard time, but to reward those who put the extra time to the game. 3 lives let you skip challenging parts of levels, which make a big part of the game, so it should be used if you really struggle even after you decrease game speed, otherwise it might kill the fun for you.
changedDash Cooldown allows you disable the cooldown time after dashes, so that you can spam dashing. Only available in casual difficulty, since it makes certain challenges irrelevant.
addedTotal invincibility ... With a hidden code, you can now access to a god mode. Beware, this is only meant for players who want to see the end of the story without investing any more time to platforming. So if you don't want to skip most of the actual content, you should probably visit this option as a last-resort. Otherwise, it will seriously kill the fun you might have!

Since the release, one of the most received feedbacks I had was about difficulty. It can be hard to provide difficulty settings without breaking the game for others, and every game is different (along with the intention of designer), so the options provided by similar games can be hard to apply in another game, because of different mechanics or the code complexity.

New difficulty settings are:

Game speed, allows you to play the game slower than the usual (down to %60 of default speed). This is the best option to try first, if you find yourself struggle too much. No penalties.

Enabling casual difficulty gives you 3 per lives per level. This was once available with a hidden code, now became an open option. Achievements in this mode are less and different, as before. Also, when you turn the god mode on, you can't unlock encore levels and no-magnet mode, and gain no achievements.
