A Long Survive changes
Soldiers,
Today, we have some difficult news to share. A Long Survive will not launch on May 14 as originally planned.
First of all, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has been waiting for the release. We know this is the second delay in a very short period of time, and we completely understand the frustration and disappointment this may cause (especially for all of you who have been supporting the project, sharing the game, wishlisting it, and following our progress over the past weeks and months.)
During our final testing process, we discovered a p roblem affecting the Crossplay connection between platforms. After many internal discussions, we reached one very clear conclusion: we are not willing to launch the game without Crossplay working properly.
Crossplay is not a secondary feature for us. It is one of the core pillars of A Long Survive. From the beginning, the game was designed around cooperative gameplay and the idea of breaking the barriers between platforms, allowing players to survive together regardless of where they play. Launching the game with that experience compromised would simply not feel right to us.
Right now, the entire team is fully focused on solving the issue and testing continuously until everything is stable and working as intended. Because of this, we are not announcing a new release date today. Instead, as soon as the issue is completely fixed and verified internally, we will immediately share the new launch date. When that happens, the time between the announcement and release will be very short.
We know another delay is difficult to accept, and we are truly sorry for having to share this news. But after coming this far, we want to make sure your first experience with A Long Survive is the one the game truly deserves.
Even with all these setbacks, we hope we can still count on your support. A Long Survive is a game built around its community, and seeing this small but passionate community continue to grow around the project genuinely means a lot to us.
We will continue sharing updates and communicating actively through our Discord community and social channels while we work on the final solution.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and for staying with us during this journey. We hope to see you soon on the battlefield, soldiers.
