changedFuture ContentRather than working towards one larger update with a few maps, we're investing in a larger themed series of updates:
added"Gentlemen Around The World"Over the next several months we'll be releasing a content update each month, each with its own map. We'll also be sprinkling occasional updates to game modes, new game modes, and new items and perks along with these updates. Each map will feature a unique place around the world and will be themed around that location.
addedFuture GamesHere at Blast Furnace Games we are hard at work on two new projects and are almost ready to announce them. Keep an eye out for easter eggs!
changedKickingWe are a small team with limited time to actively moderate, so bans will be issued rarely and on a case by case basis. We recommend reporting hackers through the in-game report system and in our Discord. We've also closed a few exploits that should make game-ruining hacking more difficult. Unfortunately the nature of the way A Gentlemen's Dispute was written makes truly preventing hacking very difficult, but hopefully these moderation changes allow us to keep our public lobbies a bit more peaceful.
addedMod SupportThis update also comes with expanded mod support. We've added an official Modding API that makes various mods and adding perks significantly easier. Join the discord to learn more about modding! We are working towards workshop support and an easier system for adding items and other game elements. The more mods we see the more resources we will put into expanding modding.

Steam post image100,000 Players

We've officially passed 100,000 gentlemen in A Gentlemen's Dispute! A Gentlemen's Dispute has been a multi year journey from a turn based strategy game made at a game jam to a ridiculous 3D ragdoll game that has now officially passed 100,000 copies sold. We are incredibly grateful to our community for helping us get here and providing the support for us to keep expanding A Gentlemen's Dispute and working on future projects.

Future Content

Rather than working towards one larger update with a few maps, we're investing in a larger themed series of updates:

"Gentlemen Around The World"

We'll also be sprinkling occasional updates to game modes, new game modes, and new items and perks along with these updates. Each map will feature a unique place around the world and will be themed around that location.

Future Games

Here at Blast Furnace Games we are hard at work on two new projects and are almost ready to announce them. Keep an eye out for easter eggs!

Moderation

We've received a some consistent reports of hackers plaguing public lobbies.

Reporting

In public lobbies it is now possible to report players from the leaderboard, in the same section where you mute or kick. For particularly egregious we still recommend reporting in our discord.

Game Bans

We have implemented a system that allows us to ban players from playing on public lobbies. This is only for public lobbies and are issued manually so they will be very rare. We are ONLY issuing bans for hacking.

Kicking

When you kick someone from a public lobby they now cannot rejoin for some time.

Mod Support

This update also comes with expanded mod support. We've added an official Modding API that makes various mods and adding perks significantly easier. Join the discord to learn more about modding!
