Performance update is now live as of 2016-09-30. Improvements were a lot easier to implement than I originally thought:
hub area improved
factory area improved
Other changes in this version include:
a pointer to the registry at the beginning of the game (if you got less than 5 species)
an additionnal hint in shroom level to find energy booster. No more excuses not finding it !
more contrast to branches in jungle
a little addition to help come back from the end of toxic swamp, as well as some minor changes.
spelling error corrected in a dialog
a critter to help understand green/red light concept in ocean base
other very minor changes
Currently in experimental:

I will now stop the update frenzy, correcting bugs of course if necessary. Unless something major comes up, don't expect an update before november. Ideally, I would like to add something interesting for the next release (an achievement forcing to do the game a certain way? challenges specific to some levels?). Tell me what you think ! I believe "A dead world's dream" has gotten much more accessible than it was at release, you should try it if you had previous trouble with controls or performance.
