To make the world of White Paper: 952 more vivid and engaging, I’ve spent a significant amount of time overhauling the core systems. The theme of this update is "Stripping Away the Noise." My priority was to remove unnecessary friction, allowing you to focus entirely on the economic indicators that truly matter.
Here are the details of the update:
Unified Economic Theme
I have merged the 'Standard' and 'Living' economy themes into one cohesive system.
By eliminating the disconnect between the two, I’ve optimized the game so that your strategic decisions flow more consistently. This consolidation allows me to focus my energy as a solo developer on delivering higher-quality, deeper content.
Dashboard Optimization
I’ve made the bold move to remove the 'Greed/Consumption Index' and 'WPI' from the main screen.
By clearing out secondary data, I have ensured that the most critical indicators for the current mechanics are given the visual priority they deserve.
Advanced News System & Data Precision
The interface for the News System has been improved, and the precision of the data delivered has been sharpened. You can now read market trends more clearly and establish sophisticated investment strategies with confidence.
Complete Order Form Redesign
The Order Form, your primary tool for asset trading, has a brand-new design.
I focused on maximizing visual clarity to prevent errors and ensure an intuitive experience during high-stakes buy/sell moments.
Slimmer Secretary Page
I’ve removed the 'Talk to Secretary' and 'About the Game' menus to simplify the structure.
My goal was to shorten the path between the player and the actionable data,
optimizing the secretary's core advisory role.
Target Company Selection
A new feature has been added to the Annual Reports and Financial Statements menus,
allowing you to manually select and analyze specific companies of interest.
Live ROI/PER Analysis Charts
To move beyond simple text-based data, I’ve introduced real-time ROI and PER charts.
You can now visually track a company’s profitability and growth potential at a glance.
Immersive Typing Animations
A text-typing effect has been applied to information displays in detailed menus.
It’s a subtle touch designed to enhance the high-tech terminal atmosphere of the simulation.
Proactive Gameplay: Notification Removal
I have removed the notification system to minimize interruptions to your flow.
I want you to be a proactive leader who monitors the market yourself,
rather than a reactive player waiting for an alert.
Removal of Limit Orders (Auto Buy/Sell)
I’ve decided to remove the auto-trading features as they were underutilized and cluttered the core logic. This change contributes to a cleaner and more stable system environment.
Stability & Bug Fixes
I’ve squashed various reported bugs and improved overall execution stability.
Optimization is an ongoing journey, and I’m committed to making the experience as smooth as possible.
Thank you for supporting a solo developer and providing such valuable feedback. I will continue to do my best to provide the most profound economic simulation experience possible.
Best regards, Sellanding
