Surprise! Yeap, we are updating 7,62 Hard Life.
Why? Because even though the game was released 11 years ago, we see that the community is going strong, with a passion that could rival even modern titles!
The update will be available in the beta branch for now: we've noticed that it may fail to launch in some cases. If you encounter any issues, please let us know. We'll move the update to the main branch once we're confident it's fully stable.
Here’s what you’ll find in this beta:
Performance optimizations
Fixed crashes related to the context menu (right-click)
Fixed a crash related to weapon attachments
Fixed item icon generation (could previously cause freezes or crashes)
Fixed explosion and footstep sounds
- Improved mod compatibilityfixed critical issues when using mods from the Steam Workshop and added support for custom XML configurations.
To access the Open Beta branch, head to your Steam Library, right-click 7,62 Hard Life, left-click Properties, left-click Game Versions & Betas and from the drop-down menu select the option "beta". Your Steam client will then download the Update.
But this is not all.There is something else we would like to ask your opinion about today. We also want to add achievements to the game! We think it will give you a perfect reason to go through it again and experience it in its new form.
Right now, we are at the beginning of this road, trying to come up with interesting and original tasks for players. And you can help us with your ideas! Just post them in the comments for us to review. We will do our best to implement the best ideas.
