In the Options menu, we have adjusted the characters-per-second settings for TEXT SPEED as follows:

  • Speed 1: Instant

  • Speed 2: 200 characters per second

  • Speed 3: 66 characters per second

  • Speed 4: 40 characters per second

  • Speed 5: 28 characters per second

  • Speed 6: 22 characters per second

  • Speed 7: 18 characters per second

    • The English text speed has been increased to roughly three times its previous value.

Language Switching Logic

  • When switching between English and other languages, the following rules apply:

    • If TEXT SPEED is set to Speed 3, 5, 6, or 7, it will automatically reset to Speed 4.

    • If set to Speed 1, it will remain at Speed 1 regardless of the language.
