Risk Notice
Mods are created by community members to bring more gameplay possibilities and experiences to the community. Please be aware that Mods may contain bugs or cause other unexpected issues. Players should evaluate the risks before using them.
● Using Mods may cause the game to crash, corrupt save files, or create other unexpected problems. We strongly recommend backing up your save files before installing or enabling any Mods.
Save file location:
[c]%appdata%/../Local/BobaCafeSimulator/Saved/SaveGames[/c]
● Some Mods may be incompatible with each other or with the current version of the game. If the game crashes or freezes, try disabling some of your Mods.
● When encountering a Mod-related issue, please contact the corresponding Mod creator for assistance. The official development team is currently unable to provide direct fixes for issues caused by Mods.
● Verify the source of Mods carefully: We recommend downloading Mods from trusted platforms such as the Steam Workshop or other established third-party Mod platforms. Be cautious when downloading unknown Mod files from cloud drives, file-sharing services, or suspicious links.
● Beware of paid Mods: All Mods should be shared by players for free. Please be cautious of any Mod content that requires payment.
● Prioritize popular and well-reviewed Mods: When choosing Mods, we recommend selecting those with higher download counts and active comment sections. Community feedback is valuable, so please be especially cautious with unknown Mods that have little activity or no user interaction.

Mod Installation Notes
1. Back Up Your Save Files
Always back up your save files before installing Mods to avoid losing or corrupting your progress.
2. Check Mod Safety
If a Mod requires an additional installer, executable file, or multiple extraction steps, scan it with antivirus software before installing it.
3. Keep Track of Mod File Locations
After installing a Mod, make a note of where its files are stored. This will make it easier to troubleshoot problems or remove the Mod later.
For Mods subscribed to through the Steam Workshop:
Open the Steam Workshop page and go to:
Your Files → Subscribed Items
Select the Mod you no longer want and click Unsubscribe. This will permanently disable the Mod and automatically remove its associated files.
4. Test Mod Compatibility
Planning to enable multiple Mods at the same time? We recommend enabling them one by one.
This makes it easier to identify Mods that are not working correctly and helps you determine which Mod is causing a compatibility issue.
If you discover a virus, Trojan, or other malicious program disguised as a Mod, or encounter any other Mod-related issue, you are welcome to submit the problematic Mod to us for verification or report it through our official channels.
We will take appropriate action against Mods that present significant risks and do our best to protect the gameplay experience of our community.

Mods may not be used to direct players to advertisements, donation pages, commercial services, unofficial external links, or any form of paid content.
