Shop Rate Adjustment Compensation: Log In to Claim 20 Standard Packs

Hello everyone, I'm Gon, Game Design Director of Grid Tactics: Duel.

In July, we adjusted the coin-to-pack exchange rate in the shop, and promised to provide corresponding player compensation for this adjustment.

Starting today, all existing players — as well as new players who log in to the game before 23:59 on August 31, 2026 (UTC+8) — will receive:

🎁 20 Standard Packs

Eligible players will receive this server-wide reward simply by logging into the game.

Whether you're a veteran who has supported Grid Tactics: Duel from the beginning, or a new player who joined recently, you're welcome to take part in this event.

At the same time, we're officially unveiling information about our next expansion.

🏟️ Third Expansion: The Ring Coliseum

Details about The Ring Coliseum will be gradually revealed, with the full release planned for September.

This expansion is expected to include:

● Over 60 brand-new cards

● Coverage of every faction in the game

● New core mechanic: Duel

● New keyword: Champion

● New status: Newbie

⚔️ New Mechanic: Duel

Deep in space at The Ring Coliseum, contests of every kind unfold throughout the day.

Here, anything can become the subject of a Duel, and any position on the battlefield can turn into the arena:

A Duel compares a specific stat among units within the designated range.

The unit with the lowest value in the Duel will be destroyed.

Different cards may initiate different forms of Duels. Adjusting stats, arranging positions, and preventing important units from being forced into the arena will become a whole new tactical challenge.

🏆 New Keyword: Champion

Some cards that can initiate Duels will feature the new keyword — Champion.

When a Duel produces a winner, the victorious unit will execute the Champion effect written on that card.

● The Champion effect belongs to the card that initiated the Duel

● The unit that wins the Duel becomes the executor of the effect

● Different winners can cause the same Champion effect to produce different results

Victory means more than just survival.

Every win in a Duel can become the turning point of the entire match.

🛡️ New Status: Newbie

Don't want your key units to be forced into a Duel?

You can try granting them the Newbie status.

Units with the Newbie status will not participate in any form of Duel.

Making good use of the Newbie status can protect your key units, and can also change the roster and final result of a Duel.

🧠 Positioning and Deckbuilding Matter More Than Ever

The Duel mechanic will further test players' mastery of the following elements:

◆ Stat curves

◆ Battlefield positioning

◆ Protecting key units

How you arrange your competitors, maintain a balanced deck curve, and let your own Champion rise above the arena will be the core strategy of this expansion.

🎁 Login Reward: Legendary Card

To celebrate the upcoming release of The Ring Coliseum, we will also gift eligible players a brand-new Legendary card:

Legendary Card "Super Host Committee"

All players who log in to the game before 23:59 on August 31, 2026 (UTC+8) will receive this Legendary card.

The card's full abilities and detailed information will be officially revealed in a follow-up announcement.
