Little Life 2.0 Major Update is Now Live!

Welcome back to Houhai Island! The 2.0 update brings new locations, new character stories, seasonal events, visual improvements, and support for more languages. Steam post image

New Locations

Houhai Island is growing. This update adds several new places to explore:

• WanTea, Xiaowan's tea shop

• Haige's Beach Hut

• Pet Shop, coming soon

New Street Decorations

The streets now include more small interactive decorations, including rocking horses placed around town. A tiny detail, yes. But tiny details are how a town starts to feel alive.

More Character Stories

More character events and story interactions have been added. Spend more time with the residents of Houhai Island, discover new conversations, and learn more about their lives and relationships.

Seasonal Events Expanded

Labor Day Event

Celebrate Labor Day with new themed content and rewards. New items include:

• Work Gloves

• Electric Drill

• Construction-themed items

New Year Event

The New Year event has also been expanded with more festive decorations and a warmer holiday atmosphere throughout town. Steam post image

NPC Portrait Improvements

All NPC portraits have been updated and refined. Characters now have a more polished and consistent visual style, helping them better express their personalities and emotions.

Improved Interactions

Many small interaction details have been improved. For example:

• Characters now walk to chairs before sitting down

• Movement behavior feels more natural

• Environmental interactions have been improved

These changes help Houhai Island feel more immersive and believable.

Simplified Currency System

Several token types have been merged. This should make progression easier to understand and reduce unnecessary complexity.

More Language Support

Little Life now supports more languages:

• French

• Korean

• Japanese
