Free DLC "The Cloud Peak" is now available

View on Steam Of course, the development of another highly anticipated feature, the"Sandbox Mode,"​ is also progressing in parallel. Its current completion rate is around 70%. As we aim to make the Sandbox Mode more enjoyable and content-rich, it will require more time for refinement than originally planned. As one of the content updates promised before the game's release,"The Cloud Peak"​ offers a standalone Roguelike experience separate from the main game. Players can choose to play as Ximen Xiang ​ or a"Nameless Hero"​ to embark on a challenging new adventure atop the mysterious Whisper Peak, filled with battles, treasures, and unknown encounters.

About the "The Cloud Peak" DLC

Upon the Cloud Peak, a single sword cut across the sky.

Ximen Xiang perished, her body blocking that fatal blade. Yet, her soul did not scatter—a path to the underworld opened, trapping her on this solitary mountain, suspended between life and death.

Fifteen harrowing layers, an infinite cycle. Each ascent is an inquiry into fate.

• Will you hold onto your original self? ​ — Traverse the Netherpath as the soul of Ximen Xiang, with fragments of memory surfacing layer by layer: your mother's disappearance, your father's obsession, the letter never sent, the chilling moment she took the sword for you... In the end, the foe you face is not an external enemy, but the forgotten self within.

• Or will you be reborn and transformed? ​ — Plunge into this mountain of the deceased as a completely new identity. Observe the memories of others while forging your own path in the jianghu. You do not know why you have come, only knowing that the end of the Netherpath holds the exit.

• Fifteen paths, seven major regions ​ — From wild trails to the Night Crow's Nest, each layer features unique enemies and encounters.

• Five professions ​ — Iron Guard, Allrounder, Shadow, Sharpshooter, and Herbalist, each with exclusive affixes and progression paths.

• Over fifty martial heroes ​ — Each boss battle unravels a tale of jianghu enmity.

• Twenty-four types of special events ​ — Ruin Relics, Wandering Physicians, Black Market Vendors, Illusions of the Heart Demon... Choose your next step wisely.

• Infinite cycle mechanism ​ — Upon completing one cycle, the difficulty escalates, presenting an endless challenge.

• Heroes' Leaderboard ​ — Compete with heroes from across the land on the real-time leaderboard. Every step forward in your adventure helps you achieve a higher score. Only the strongest can claim a place on the leaderboard. Will your glory be fleeting, or will you reign supreme?

Note: After downloading, this DLC can be accessed via the "Scenario Selection" menu in the main game's New Game section.

New Discount + Original Soundtrack Release

WindStop Strategy will be available at a -12% discount ​ from April 28th to May 6th. Furthermore, the Original Soundtrack has been released simultaneously with the "The Cloud Peak" DLC. Produced by independent musician Bian Huijing, the soundtrack is priced at ＄0.99 ​. After deducting necessary taxes and fees, all proceeds from the soundtrack sales will belong to the music creator.
